The Magellan 1500i from Datalogic is an ideal hands-free scanner for retail, point of sale, pharmacy, customer service, self-checkout and kiosk applications. This incredibly small scanner offers superior performance and reads 1D, 2D and Digimarc barcodes quickly with accuracy. Most impressively, it has two operating modes. Stand Mode allows for hands-free usage, perfect for customer service or self-checkout kiosks, with a high scan speed of 1.5 ms/s. The presentation mode is activated via the built-in accelerometer and the Green Spot Technology provides targeted scanning to ensure that no barcode goes unread.
